An Intentional Act is an act carried out by an agent in order to realise an intention: the agent acts because it aims at some end. Deliberate manufacturing, measuring and communicating are intentional acts, as against reflexive or accidental behaviour.

Examples

  • an act of measuring
  • an act of manufacturing
  • an act of naming
