An Information Content Entity is a generically dependent continuant that is about some entity. It is the information itself, distinct from any particular material thing that carries it, so the same content can be concretised by many different bearers at once. A weather report, a serial number and a blueprint are all information content entities that stand in an is about relation to the entities they concern.

Examples

  • a measurement result
